Der Fair Rubber e.V. setzt sich f\u00fcr einen fairen Handel und die nachhaltige Produktion von Naturkautschuk ein. Das Ziel: Die Lebens- und Arbeitsbedingungen der Menschen zu verbessern, die den Rohstoff anbauen \u2013 und gleichzeitig den \u00f6kologischen Fu\u00dfabdruck der Kautschukproduktion zu minimieren. Unter den Mitgliedern von Fair Rubber sind Unternehmen, Nichtregierungsorganisationen (NGOs) und Einzelpersonen. Zentrales Instrument ist das Fair Rubber-Logo f\u00fcr Produkte, die den Kriterien des Fairen Handels entsprechen.<\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Mitglieder von Fair Rubber zahlen pro Kilogramm Kautschuk eine Fair-Trade- Pr\u00e4mie an die Produzent:innen. Diese entscheiden eigenverantwortlich, wie sie die Mittel einsetzen \u2013 ob f\u00fcr sauberes Trinkwasser, Arbeitsschutz, medizinische Versorgung oder nachhaltigere Anbaumethoden. Fair Rubber \u00fcberwacht den Mitteltransfer, die Einhaltung der Fair Rubber-Kriterien wird von unabh\u00e4ngigen Auditfirmen \u00fcberpr\u00fcft. Die Kosten daf\u00fcr \u00fcbernimmt Fair Rubber. Hier setzt die Fair Rubber Association an: Die Zahlung einer Fair-Trade-Pr\u00e4mie an die Prim\u00e4rproduzent:innen hilft dabei, dass auch in Zeiten niedriger Marktpreise die Produktionskosten gedeckt sind \u2013 und idealerweise ein \u00dcberschuss bleibt.
